When will I get paid?

Below are the scheduled distribution dates for the year 2025. Please note that these dates are subject to change at HFA's discretion and there may be more than one payment in a single month.

The distribution dates below do not guarantee a payment, as this is based on usage and licensing activity for your compositions, as well as distribution processing schedule and timing of royalty reporting by manufacturer.

Payment information will be sent to recipients as of the distribution date. Royalty statements and reports will be available on HFA Online within four days of the distribution date. Please be aware that statements will not be mailed and must be accessed via your HFA Portal account.

If you have signed up for Direct Deposit, you will receive your royalty payment within two days of the distribution date. You will receive an email notifying you that payment has been transmitted to your account. If you receive your payment by mail, please allow at least two weeks for your check to arrive. We encourage everyone to sign up for direct deposit.
