Where can I access my 1099 from HFA?
1099s are mailed on or around January 31st of each calendar year for royalties paid in the prior calendar year. They are only issued physically by mail, and therefore, no digital copy is available through your HFA Portal.
1099s are not issued to any payee with a Corporation (C Corp, S Corp, or LLC taxed as either of the prior) tax classification. Payees with these tax classifications can simply refer to the HFA statements in the HFA Portal from the calendar year to determine how much was earned. For all payees, the royalty amount reflected on your 1099 aligns with the statements available to you in your HFA Portal for the corresponding tax year.
